Medicaps University, a premier institution in Indore, has been a beacon of academic excellence for over two decades. However, as the Indian higher education landscape has evolved with digital adoption, internationalization, and a dynamic student-centric learning environment, Medicaps University recognized the need to rebrand. 


Taking this into account, the management at Medicaps University sought a transformative rebrand to establish a stronger and dynamic brand identity that aligns with its future aspirations.


a deep dive to understand the challenges 


To accurately capture the essence of Medicaps University, we conducted an extensive brand immersion exercise involving one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and surveys with over 4000 students and 400 faculty members. 


This allowed us to gain a deep understanding of the university’s legacy, strengths, ethos, aspirations, and strong regional reputation driven by word-of-mouth advocacy. It also revealed the need for cohesive brand positioning and appeal, consistent communication, enhanced campus experience, and reshaping stakeholder perceptions.

The rebranding strategy for Medicaps University aimed to modernise its appeal, establish greater structure, and enhance its relevance in the competitive education landscape. 


By streamlining the name from ‘Medi-caps’ to ‘Medicaps’, we aimed at establishing clarity and simplicity, making it more approachable and representative of its diverse academic offerings.


We also implemented a comprehensive and refined brand architecture framework by simplifying the structure of fragmented sub-identities, leading to the establishment of effective communication systems and improved stakeholder engagement by fostering deeper connections with various internal and external stakeholders.



Our communication strategy emphasised the aspects of authenticity and accessibility, resulting in the mapping of principles for a welcoming campus, enhanced student experience, inspiring visuals, and a more engaging, inclusive environment.

  • The shield, integrated with geometric patterns, represents dynamism and symbolizes intellectual, professional, and personal growth. It reinforces the institution’s role in shaping resilient, future-ready individuals and commitment to character-building, leadership, and innovation.


  • Interwoven elements reflect a thriving academic ecosystem, fostering collaboration between students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners.


  • The structured foundation signifies strong roots in tradition, ethics, and academic excellence, ensuring that students remain grounded while embracing advancements.


The dynamic gradient color scheme- the blend of deep purple and burgundy signifies wisdom, academic brilliance, passion, and vitality – depicts Medicaps University’s drive for continuous forward movement.

The new visual identity extended beyond aesthetics- it shaped all brand collaterals, from brochures, signage, and business collaterals to marketing materials, creating a consistent and compelling presence that reinforced Medicaps’ reputation as a modern, student-first, future-ready institution.
