Bizou had a vision of an identity that reflected the key essence of culinary alchemy. The founder approached us with the straightforward purpose of creating a brand identity for the cafe that serves as a gateway to a gastronomical odyssey and a shared experience for the brand patrons. 

 

The primary challenge was introducing European-style food to a region that was slightly unfamiliar with it. The brief offered a unique opportunity for our teams to curate a brand visual appeal and communication that balances food as a form of art and a source of nourishment without making it seem too obvious.

Our solution was to strategise, and eventually create, a brand persona and identity for Bizou that blended sophistication and cosmopolitan appeal with genuine warmth and passion. 


After deeply understanding their target audience, business goals, culinary offerings, and desired atmosphere, we created an identity inspired by various aspects related to balanced health, food, and Europe.

For the logo, our strategy was to keep it simple and elegant. We created a wordmark that exemplified the luxurious and modern aesthetics of Bizou. Maintaining a contemporary feel, we employed an engaging colour palette to capture the brand’s essence further.

We positioned Bizou as a premium yet approachable brand, offering a taste of Europe without requiring travel. The menu featured engaging, conversational copy, while the design incorporated nature-inspired illustrations and a color palette that exuded exclusivity.


To visualise the culinary possibilities at Bizou, we incorporated food illustrations as brand elements. These illustrations embrace a line-art style for a clear and crisp look, complemented by a leafy background, creating a unique and wholesome experience & aesthetic.

Our brand collateral included posters and digital assets designed to promote Bizou's pre-launch and launch. We emphasised the diverse languages in our content to create a sense of inclusivity and global appeal for their food offerings. This also included indoor and outdoor signages for ease of navigation and convenience.
