scope
A leading philanthropic peer network, AIP, led by industry experts and well-known philanthropists such as Ashish Dhawan and Amitabh Japipuria, reached out to us looking for an awareness website to showcase their expertise. The primary scope was to create a user-friendly and easy-to-navigate platform where they could share valuable insights and resources, and guide fellow philanthropists.
solution
Since the philanthropic field itself is less reliant on visuals, the challenge lay in creating a compelling experience that wasn’t overloaded with information. We aimed to achieve this balance by managing content density and incorporating engaging assets to retain user attention. This also included an easy-to-publish back-end system, allowing the client to independently update and add insights in the future.
impact
Born from a collective vision to initiate and expedite societal progress, AIP serves as a dynamic platform where philanthropists converge, collaborate, and innovate to address pressing challenges and shape a brighter future for all.
Now, empowered by the wealth of publications and insights on the AIP website, these changemakers are empowering and guiding other philanthropists to give more, give sooner, and give better.
Driving action
website
We prioritised a user-friendly experience that aligned perfectly with the client’s requirements. Since the core function of the website was to publish AIP’s valuable resources and insights, we built a CMS-driven website. This structure empowered the client to update information on pages like ‘AIP Resources', ‘Curated Resources’ and the ‘Blog’ whenever needed.
Louder than words
3D assets
We realised that the website lacked visual elements that effectively conveyed the essence of philanthropy and the guidance that AIP was aiming to provide. To address this and utilise the extra space, we implemented 3D assets. Placing them very strategically throughout the site, these 3D assets served as interactive guides, making sure that the user’s understanding of specific content and sections was enriched immensely. We ensured that each asset was self-explanatory, even when viewed independently.
Pocket-sized inspiration
mobile optimisation
While the eccentric layout on the desktop version created a unique user experience, it was a little try when optimising for mobile devices. Traditional responsive design methods initially proved insufficient. To overcome this, we opted for a fully responsive fluid design. This allowed the website’s elements to adapt and resize based on the screen size, allowing for an optimal viewing experience for users on any mobile device.
