The candidate shall be responsible for designing visually engaging, user-friendly websites on Wix Studio. The role will focus on understanding client requirements, translating briefs into compelling website layouts, and ensuring strong UI/UX execution that enhances brand communication across digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Brand & Digital Consultants to translate briefs and brand guidelines into effective website designs.

• Design and structure websites using Wix Editor / Wix Studio, ensuring responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

• Apply UI/UX best practices to create intuitive navigation, clear information hierarchy, and visually consistent interfaces.

• Research competitor websites, digital design trends, and emerging UI/UX patterns to deliver fresh, modern solutions.

• Develop wireframes, page layouts, and visual mockups for client presentations and project work.

• Ensure brand consistency across typography, colour, imagery, and other design elements.

• Optimise website visuals and layouts to improve usability, engagement, and overall user experience.

• Use Figma (and similar design tools) to create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that can be seamlessly translated into Wix Studio builds.

• Leverage advanced CSS grid layouts and never cells in Wix Studio to create flexible, modular sections that adapt dynamically across breakpoints.

Additional Technical Responsibilities:

• Implement proper semantic heading hierarchy (H1 → H6) to support accessibility, SEO, and screen readers.

• Maintain a scalable typography system by using Wix Studio text theme styles (Heading, Paragraph, etc.) for consistent sizing across devices.

• Apply fluid responsive design techniques using relative sizing (%, vh, vw, px*) and Wix’s built-in flex/grid layouts for seamless adaptation across breakpoints.

• Use Wix spacing tools (margins, paddings, min/max widths) in relative units to preserve balance across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

• Follow WCAG accessibility standards, ensuring inclusivity in design and user interactions.

• Regularly audit designs for SEO-friendliness, including alt text, metadata, and proper link structures.

• Work with structured CMS collections in Wix Studio to make designs scalable, editable, and future-proof.

• Leverage global design tokens, reusable sections, and master layouts within Wix Studio to deliver consistent and efficient designs.
